Position: Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
Department: Sage Pharmacy and Medical Centre
Physical Work Location: Sage New Westminster and Amenida Surrey
Reports to: Operations and Growth Manager
Salary Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Your Day to Day:

Manage patient appointments including booking, confirming, rescheduling, and cancellations

Register patients and verify demographic information during intake

Create and maintain accurate Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Coordinate follow-ups for lab requisitions, imaging requests, and specialist referrals

Monitor incoming reports, consult notes, and test results for physician review

Prepare examination rooms and take basic patient vitals (weight, blood pressure)

Assist physicians during minor procedures when required

Act as a communication liaison between patients, physicians, and external partners

Process MSP and third-party billings and manage incoming faxes and clinic documentation

Maintain an organized and professional front-desk environment
What You Bring to the Table:

Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certificate or diploma preferred
-
Korean language skills (required)

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and medical office procedures

Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment

Proficiency with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and general office software

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Nice to Have:

Previous experience working in a medical clinic or healthcare environment

Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff
