Position: Education Assistant Instructor
Reports to: Campus Director
Job Status: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: CDI College Calgary North, #230 13401 108 Avenue, Calgary, AB
Pay: $27 – $29 per hour
Start Date: November 17, 2025
Your Day-to-Day:
As an Education Assistant Instructor, you will:

Engage professionally with students, staff, and instructors.

Deliver curriculum-based instruction effectively.

Prepare lesson plans and employ diverse teaching methods.

Monitor and discuss student progress individually and in groups.
-
Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.

Maintain compliance with institutional policies and procedures.

Attend meetings, evaluations, and orientation sessions as required.

Submit attendance, records, and final grades promptly.

Update and maintain course materials.

Arrange make-up sessions for missed classes.

Stay current with industry knowledge and professional development.
What You Bring to the Table:
-
Degree or diploma from a recognized institution.

Three or more years of experience in a related field.

Minimum of one year of instructional experience or a certificate in adult learning.
Nice to Have:

Relevant industry skills and knowledge related to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development.

Interest in pedagogical and multi-modal education approaches.

Advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation.

Ability to motivate and inspire students.

High standards of behavior, professional attitude, and commitment to quality service.

Ability to work cooperatively with other instructors and staff.

Ability to respond appropriately to the needs, feelings, and capabilities of students, providing feedback and treating students equitably.
