Overview:
The Instructor is responsible for delivering curriculum-based instruction, supporting student learning, and maintaining a professional learning environment.

 

Location: CDI Winnipeg

Reports To: Education Manager

Job Status: Part-time   

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Compensation: $21–$25 per hour 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned courses following the approved curriculum
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials using various methods
  • Monitor and discuss student progress regularly
  • Maintain accurate attendance and grading records
  • Provide timely feedback and final grades
  • Participate in instructor meetings, evaluations, and professional development
  • Support curriculum updates and ensure course materials are current
  • Follow college policies and cooperate with staff and administration
  • Arrange make-up classes as needed
  • Maintain industry knowledge and instructional quality

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and instructional tools (e.g., SNAP, Certiprep, WileyPLUS)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to professional conduct, student success, and continuous improvement
