Practical Nursing Instructor
Location: CDI College – Surrey Campus
Job Status: Ongoing Part-Time, Onsite
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour (LPN)
Your Day-to-Day:

Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum.

Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently.

Contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.

Support the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience.

Act in a manner that upholds the College standards.

Participate in College and Program Activities.

Monitor and review students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as the program requires.

Facilitate learning on exacerbations of chronic illnesses and/or presentations of acute illness.

Facilitate consolidation of skills such as post-operative care, surgical wound management, IV therapy, and focused assessment.

Deliver clinical teaching over the scheduled hours, take attendance, and supervise the safety of students during clinical hours.

Advocate for the learning of students in the acute care setting and monitor their progress.
What You Bring to the Table:

Current license with BCCNM.

Three or more years of experience with at least one year in acute care.

Degree or diploma from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
-
A credential in adult education or willingness to pursue the PID at an accredited post-secondary institution is required.
- One year of teaching experience could be considered an asset.
