Position: Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) Clinic Instructor
Location: CDI South Surrey Start date Aug 11th
Reports To: Campus Director / RMT Coordinator
Salary: $40.00(Clinic supervision) - $45.00-$50.00/hour(Instructor)
Position Overview:
As an RMT Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of massage therapy professionals. You will provide hands-on instruction and support students through their academic journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful careers. This position offers an opportunity to share your expertise while staying engaged in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum and program objectives.
- Create dynamic lesson plans and teaching aids to meet diverse student needs.
- Offer personalized feedback to students, tracking their progress and development.
- Foster a positive and professional learning environment for students and colleagues.
- Participate in curriculum development and updates to keep courses relevant.
- Maintain professional industry knowledge and skills.
- Report student progress and any issues to the Campus Director or Coordinator.
- Keep accurate attendance records and submit required forms promptly.
- Ensure online course materials are up-to-date and consistent with current textbooks.
Additional Duties:
- Make up any missed classes due to illness or other absences.
- Collaborate with staff and administration to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage in teaching evaluations and performance reviews for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree, diploma, or certification in a relevant field or a licensed RMT in good standing.
- Experience: 2,500 hours of clinical experience (2,000 hours for Teaching Assistants).
- Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and student mentorship abilities.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field.
