Bilingual Call Centre Specialist (English/French) - Part-Time
Location: New Westminster, BC
Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour
Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week, with a possible increase in hours in the future)
Position Overview
The purpose of the Bilingual Call Centre Specialist is to provide exceptional, bilingual customer service for all inbound calls to current and new clients in both English and French, and to assist the Appointment Setting Representative team as required. As the first point of contact for inbound calls, the Bilingual Call Centre Specialist is responsible for delivering professional support to potential and existing clients by following strict and effective guidelines.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Bilingual Call Centre Specialist will be responsible for the following duties, alongside other related tasks assigned to support business objectives:

Bilingual Client Communication: Handle inbound calls, inquiries, and support requests seamlessly in both fluent English and French.

Customer Service & Sales: Provide consistent, exceptional customer service, identify and act upon sales opportunities, and appropriately transfer clients to other business units within Campus Support.

Performance & KPIs: Achieve monthly and annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets established by the Call Center Manager.

Administrative Tracking: Maintain accurate records by tracking and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly activities.

Appointment Support: Assist the Appointment Setting Representatives team by booking prospective student interviews following strict guidelines, using proven techniques to maximize show rates, and upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience

High school diploma.

Minimum two (2) years of experience working in a call centre environment (experience within private post-secondary education or a recruitment agency is strongly preferred).
Language Requirements

Mandatory: Fully fluent and bilingual in English and French (both oral and written).

Bonus: Additional proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, or Punjabi is considered an asset.
Skills & Abilities

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in both English and French.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard productivity tools.

Familiarity with Five9 software is an asset.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking and managing competing priorities under pressure.

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a customer-focused attitude.
Schedule & Provisos

Hours: Part-time position, 20 hours per week with a possible increase in hours in the future.

Shift Details: Morning shifts from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; availability across Monday to Friday is required.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to work schedules provided by the Manager, Call Center.
