Location: 960 Quayside Dr, New Westminster, BC V3M 6G2
Compensation: $49,000 - $56,000

Job Type: Ongoing Fulltime

Shift Type: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible 

 

Your Day to Day:

 

Specifically, the Human Resources Representative will be responsible for:

  • Support the other members of the HR team in completing various administrative tasks and assisting as needed
  • Manage and run the HRIS software of the organization, and make sure it’s updated.
  • Answer employee queries about HR-related issues
  • Preparing and processing HR documents
  • Participating in ongoing and ad-hoc human resources projects
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Administering and maintaining employee benefits program

What You Bring to the Table:

 

To be successful in the Human Resources Representative position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:

Education and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or Business (with a HR focus/specialization)
  • One year of related experience in HR or customer service setting.
  • Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation.
  • Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
  • CPHR certification or working towards

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Proficiency in French is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals.
  • Efficiency in oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy and sincerity.

  • Experience with SAP HRIS system an asset
