Position Title: HR Generalist
Job type: Hybrid, Mississauga
Salary Range : 65,000 - 80,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Availability to join: As soon as possible
Preference : Experience with diverfised industries, employee relations, employee investigation, unions

Your Day to Day:
As a HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day Human Resources (HR) functions across multiple locations within Canada. In this role, you will provide essential guidance to both management and employees in various HR areas, including employee and labor relations, administration, training and development, performance management, and engagement. Specifically, this role takes responsibility for:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including Managers and employees, ensuring HR practices are aligned with company expectations
- Coach and advise managers on both simple and complex employee and labor relation matters within assigned regions
- Conduct timely and thorough investigations and case management
- Oversee employee accommodation requests, extended leaves and return to work programs alongside Manager
- Assist managers and employees in understanding HR policies, processes, programs, and employment legislation.
- Own and implement HR related projects as assigned from time to time
- Facilitate workshops, training and education sessions for managers and employees
- Extend HR support to other regions during the absence of other HR staff or during periods of high workload.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the Company's objectives.

To succeed in the role of HR Generalist, you must be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role
- Proactive in handling a diverse workload with a high volume.
- A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact effectively and ethically.
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion, maintaining the confidentiality of files, personal information, and other matters as appropriate.
- Ability to travel between local sites
