- Position: Pharmacist Manager (Full-time)
Reports to: Vicepresident
Salary Range: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour - Location: 13855 68, Surrey, BC V3W 2G9
Your Day to Day:
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff to maintain a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency. Manage scheduling, conduct performance reviews, and implement workflow improvements to ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Oversee all pharmacy operations to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, including proper storage, dispensing, and documentation of medications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and best practices to ensure safe and accurate patient care.
- Provide clinical services including medication reviews, medication adaptations, and prescribing for certain conditions.
- Collect and review relevant patient, drug, and disease information to ensure appropriate therapy.
- Process and review prescriptions, assisting pharmacy assistants as necessary.
- Identify actual and potential drug therapy problems, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide patient counseling and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare team members.
- Recommend appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) products, vitamins, and supplements.
- Administer vaccines and other medications in compliance with BC Pharmacy Regulations.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Proficiency in speaking Korean (required for effective communication with patients).
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
- Certified to administer injections in BC.
- Current and up-to-date OAT training certification from the College of Pharmacists of BC.
- Familiarity with Kroll Program, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong commitment to professionalism, with a demonstrated dedication to patient care and well-being.
- Self-directed, able to work independently, and meet deadlines efficiently.
