Position: Technical Analyst
Reports to: IT Operations Manager
Job Status: Full Time, Onsite
Pay: $65,000–$85,000
Location: Whitby, Aurora, Stratford, Belleville, ON
Your Day to Day:
The Technical Analyst will, at various times, be responsible for the following duties, as well as other related tasks as assigned to support the business objectives and technology operations of the organization:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Support Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management systems.
- Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and account administration.
- Assist with system configuration, deployment, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Support collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Webex, and other conferencing platforms.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve technical incidents in a timely manner.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and site implementations.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventory, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party support providers as required.
- Travel to multiple sites including Whitby, Aurora, Stratford, and Belleville as needed.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education and Experience:
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or systems administration.
Experience supporting:
Microsoft 365
Windows 10/11
Active Directory / Azure AD
Networking fundamentals
Hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices
Skills and Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Comfortable working in a multi-site environment.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice, etc.).
Experience with Microsoft Intune or endpoint management tools.
Experience supporting multi-location IT environments.
