Location: Unit 120 – 2886 Sunridge Way NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 7H9

Compensation: $40,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time | Onsite

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


The Role in a Snapshot

As the Receptionist for Reeves College, you are the "Director of First Impressions." You are the first point of contact for our students, faculty, and future graduates. We are looking for a polished, organized, and high-energy professional who can manage a busy front desk while ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels supported and welcome.

A Day in the Life

  • Campus Ambassador: Provide a warm, professional welcome to students, staff, and visitors.

  • Communication Hub: Manage a multi-line phone system, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments with speed and accuracy.

  • Operational Support: Assist campus leadership with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

  • Campus Logistics: Manage incoming/outgoing mail, monitor office supply levels, and keep the reception area looking sharp and professional.

  • Event Coordination: Assist with the logistics of campus events, graduation ceremonies, and student orientations.

  • Policy Champion: Maintain high standards of confidentiality and ensure all visitors follow campus security and check-in protocols.


Who You Are

  • The Professional: You have 1–3 years of experience in reception, office administration, or high-touch customer service.

  • Tech-Fluent: You are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word) and comfortable learning new internal databases.

  • Exceptional Communicator: You possess a clear, professional speaking voice and a "can-do" attitude.

  • Reliable & Punctual: You understand the importance of being the first one there to open the doors for our students at 8:00 AM.

  • Education-Minded: You have a high school diploma (required); experience in an educational or vocational college setting is a significant asset.
