Compensation: $28-32 Hourly
Job Type: Ongoing Part-time
Shift Type: 30-40 hours (Monday to Friday)
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Your Day to Day:
Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for:
- Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently
- Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
- Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards
- Participating in College and Program Activities
- Monitoring and reviewing students during practicum and/or clinical placements, as program requires
What You Bring to the Table:
To be successful in the Instructor position, individuals must be committed to developing, maintaining and demonstrating the following:
- Degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
- Register Dental assistant in Alberta is needed.
- Adult education credential or teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Meet specific position qualifications based on program design and approval.
- Demonstrated industry expertise, commitment to professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Professional attitude, high standards of behavior, and a dedication to quality service.
- Ability to collaborate with staff and provide constructive, equitable feedback to students.
- Willingness to adopt and utilize technology for enhanced learning experiences.
