Job Title: Executive Director, Tiny Scholars
Location: Head Office (with regular travel to multiple regions/locations)
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually + comprehensive benefits package

Essential Requirement: This role involves frequent travel to oversee operations across multiple sites.

 

Position Overview:

The Primacorp Group is actively seeking an experienced Leader in the Early Childhood field who can not only operationally oversee several Early Learning Centers (ELC), but also help us grow from a handful of centers now to a 30+ centers in the next 5 years.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

Operational Management:

  • Responsible for the overall operations of all Tiny Scholars locations
  • Ensure compliance with Child Care Licensing Regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Overall Site Leadership and Development

 

Licensing and Compliance:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing regulations and ensure the ELC's adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of required certifications, licenses, and clearances for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards (provincial)
  • Review, develop, and implement policies and practices in alignment with relevant governing bodies.

 

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors.

 

Financial Management:

  • Responsible for achieving the budgeted revenue, cost, and profitability targets for each ELC

 

New Centers / Growth:

  • Research and determine the best potential locations for new ELCs
  • Coordinate the various tasks of setting up a new ELC
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a similar field
  • MBA would be an asset
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development is a strong asset
  • Proven experience in managing Early Learning Centres or similar childcare facilities
  • Experience opening new ELCs or similar facilities

 

Certifications:

  • Criminal record check and vulnerable persons search
  • Current immunizations and TB clearance.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
