Location: Chilliwack, Langley, and Surrey, BC
Start Date: June 2, 2025
Status: Casual
Compensation: $33–$36/hour (LPN) | $40/hour (RN)
Shifts: 12-hour shifts, flexible or scheduled (see below)

We are currently hiring for three Clinical Instructor positions beginning June 2, 2025:

1. Chilliwack General Hospital

• Dates: June 2 – July 14

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week

• Days: Variable

2. Langley Memorial Hospital

• Dates: June 2 – July 13

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week

• Days: Variable

3. Surrey Memorial Hospital

• Dates: June 2 – July 13

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts

• Required Work Days:

  • June: 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 25, 26, 27

  • July: 3, 4, 10, 11

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on instruction and guidance in a clinical setting

• Ensure students meet course objectives and safety standards

• Facilitate skill-building in IV therapy, post-op care, and assessments

• Offer feedback and evaluate student performance

• Collaborate with faculty to enhance student learning

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active BCCNM license (LPN or RN)

• Education: Diploma or degree in nursing or a related field

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent full-time acute care experience

• Teaching Requirement: PID or adult education credential (or willingness to pursue)

• Skills: Acute care experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching or preceptorship experience

• Interest in innovative or multi-modal teaching approaches
