Job Summary
The Bilingual Call Center Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to current and prospective clients in both English and French. As the first point of contact, this role handles inbound calls professionally, follows established processes, and supports client engagement and appointment scheduling activities.
Job Status: Ongoing, Part-time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $19/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and consistent customer service for all inbound calls.
- Respond to inquiries from current and prospective clients in English and French.
- Identify client needs and refer calls to the appropriate departments when required.
- Support sales and recruitment objectives by identifying opportunities during client interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and update client information in internal systems.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly activities as required.
- Assist the Appointment Setting team with scheduling appointments for prospective students.
- Follow established appointment-setting and customer engagement procedures.
- Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Meet individual and team KPI targets.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a call center or customer service environment.
- Experience in private post-secondary education or recruitment is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Bilingual in English and French with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
